Start-up Problem

Hi I am having a problem with starting my PC every time i turn it on when it gets to starting windows it loads start-up repair and i didn't even select it i click "Start Windows normally" and it still loads start-up repair i don't know why it does that i have run the start-up repair 5 times it says that it can't repair and when you click finsh it it shups down and the hole thing happens again i've only got my wireless mouse and keyboard are plugged in to the USB it also does the same thing when u try to load safe mode i have done system restore and restore it to the day before the problem and when i load it the same thing happens i dont what to reinstalling windows

BTW im using my dads pc to post this

Can Anyone Help Please???

HI Amaterasu!!
Do u have a Repair Disc or the Original Windows 7 Disc????
If yes insert one of this discs... after it boots up click repair my PC in the left corner... and then select Command Prompt!
Then type sfc /scannow and let it repair..
Let me know what happend

Thanks xHazard i will try that and i do have the Original windows 7 disc from dell and the back up i make was on a USB becaouse i didn't have any discs and i will let u know as soon as i can thanks again for your help

Check the hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools.

If none of those options worl, try this tutorial, Startup Repair. Run startup 3 times or until the system boots.

i have done what xHazard said to do when i type in sfc/scannow it says "theres a start-up repair pending restart and try again" i was using the Original windows 7 disc i have alreadly tryed Startup Repair 5 times and that does not work it says "windows can not fix the problem" after ever time i run the start-up repair

Try this tutorial. Read through the whole tutorial first. Looping Startup Repair Loop See if that may help, it seems that is where you are.

thanks essenbe i think thats the problem i will follow the guide u posted and if that does not work the it looks like i will have to reinstall windows 7
