Windows 7 Ultimate x64
I have an older A4 Tech multimedia keyboard (RKS-26) with extra buttons for cut, copy, paste and undo. All the other keys & buttons function fine but these simply don't work anymore. I have installed new
drivers and talked to their tech support but to no avail.
I'm currently editing a
lot of live XML code (redirecting links to another URL because of a server change) and these buttons were incredibly useful as opposed to the control/key method.
I've found an old blog post by someone referencing the AppCommands reg settings in XP but I don't see anything comparable in Windows 7.
Right now I'm using an AutoHotkey script to redirect some mouse buttons which works but it's awkward - I have fat thumbs & the mouse has tiny side buttons- and I have hundreds of pages to edit... any ideas on how to get Windows 7 to recognize the keyboard buttons?
thanks
