Help with services?

Hello again,

I am currently trying to fix a friends laptop, the dxdiag of which is attached. It's running Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit.
I cannot get the wireless card to show in the network connections, and it also doesn't show in the device manager.
I have tried uninstalling the drivers for both the LAN and Wireless and reinstalling them and I actually got the Wireless to work until it was restarted.
This led me to think that it was a service that wasn't starting, but I'm not sure how to fix this.

Any help is welcome, and thanks in advance,
Stubbyhs

Services on the computer can be brought up by typing "Services.msc" in the run box. The service in question is called WLAN AutoConfig, make sure that service is set to automatic startup and the service is started. Let us know if that fixes the issue.

Check your vendors website to see if they offer an uninstall utility for the NICs. Sometimes it takes that to clean up after removal.

Disable both in the BIOS first to make sure shrug and pray doesn't go looking for them.

After a couple of reboots, enable one at a time in BIOS and install the driver when windows asks for it.

And make sure you're using the right driver. The dxdiag you posted shows Vista, not 7.
