17" Laptop

I am in need to a laptop with a 17" screen. Reviewed Dell and HP. Both look pretty good and price is right. I will primarily use it for Word, Excel and Email and also watching downloaded movies. Need HDMI to connect to my TV. Looking for one under $600.

Any recommendations?

Got a 17.3 HP Laptop Refurbished from Sam's Club for $350
Pavillion dv7
Intel Core I-5-430processor 2.26GHz with turbo Boost up to 2.53GHz
640GB(320 x 2-7200RPM dual hard drive
Plus many more.....
So shop around. Sam's Club or Costco
Even though it was refurbished all that happened was someone purchased it, didn't like it and the returned it.
Have had it for over 5 months and works like a charm...

Great suggestion from The Howling Wolves. Dell offers refurbished laptops right on its website -- so you can take a look to see what's available. Personally, I have an HP (Pavillion dv5t) and MUCH PREFER HP over Dell, but it's good to check out all of the options.
