Local Drives not visible...

Hi everyone i have serious problem, wish someone can help me..
I have an windows 7 ultimate machine with seagate 500 gb hard disk. Local drive (C:250gb) and new volumes (e:100gb)&(f:150gb).
yesterday i tried to install ubuntu so i booted from dvd drive and it asked for set up and partitioning options but it just showed only one partition in the setup and it asked for creating new volumes.. I just cancelled the set up and rebooted my system then my new volumes e: & f: are not listed in My computer or anywhere...

It seems that 100 gb and 150 gb partitions have been wiped.
Try to right-click on of them and see if you can assign a drive letter.
Hope this helps!

Hi, try Best Free Partition Manager Freeware for Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP 32 bit & 64 bit. MiniTool Free Partition Manager Software Home Edition. instead of Windows Disk Management.
It maybe can find and solve partition problems.

Hope this helps

It helped a bit, it reveals the partitions and can explore the contents but how to recover the drives?

Ok, all data is in there...
I suggest you tu buy an external hard disk and try to copy partition from your disk to the external one.

Hope this helps
