Water cooling radiator question I'm somewhat new to the water cooling business, but which way should I have my 40mm fan going on my cpu radiator?
Venting hot air OUT, or venting cool air inside? | My System Specs |

Matt2488,
I'm having a hard time believing that any water cooler radiator would have a 40mm fan attached, did you mean 140mm? Where in the case is the radiator/fan located? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number A blend of brains, brawn and dumb luck, ask me about rig #2 ! At the top left of the case, it came with a 140mm fan that's what I meant. The 140mm fan is at the top rear exhaust.
I cleaned it out recently and forgot which way the fan was venting air, out or in. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit CPU AMD Phenom X4 925 @ 2.8ghz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H AM3 Memory 4GB DDR3 1600mhz A-DATA gaming series Graphics Card Dual HIS Radeon HD 5770 Sound Card Asus Xonar D1 Monitor(s) Displays Samsung Syncmaster EX2220 Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Thermaltake Challenger Pro Mouse Death Adder PSU Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 1200w A+ certified Gold. Most all fans have a fan spin direction and air flow direction arrow. You should have this set up drawing air from the case and exhausting through the radiator out the back of the case. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number A blend of brains, brawn and dumb luck, ask me about rig #2 ! If you want you can also run dual fans in what we call a push/pull configuration. This is what I run on my H50 with super silent Noctua fans but I'm exhausting through a top mounted location....only difference. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number A blend of brains, brawn and dumb luck, ask me about rig #2 ! Yeah I don't have screws long enough to do that, but if I could I would probably do that. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit CPU AMD Phenom X4 925 @ 2.8ghz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H AM3 Memory 4GB DDR3 1600mhz A-DATA gaming series Graphics Card Dual HIS Radeon HD 5770 Sound Card Asus Xonar D1 Monitor(s) Displays Samsung Syncmaster EX2220 Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Thermaltake Challenger Pro Mouse Death Adder PSU Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 1200w A+ certified Gold. Easy purchase at any local hardware store.....I went to Ace so I didn't have to by some pre-packaged 15 pack at the Depot. Hydro Series
Under FAQ's & Support look down the page and see the Push/Pull fan configuration. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number A blend of brains, brawn and dumb luck, ask me about rig #2 !
