so far the shipping has been free for me. I haven't got word that they will send it back because of the weekend. But according to the terms, if they change the quote, then they are supposed to give me the opportunity to request the laptop be sent back to me.
if i really can't get more than $100, or if craigslist/ebay will turn out to be a hassle, then I think I can eek out more than $100 worth of productivity from it by keeping the notebook as a backup or portable system.
