Windows 7: Can I copy a printer?

Can I copy a printer?

My new Canon MX885 does single and double sided printing.
I would like to have both listed in my applications so I can choose.
From very ancient Windows days I remember I could just copy it, but somehow that doesn't seem possible anymore...
Anyone?

Just install the printer twice.

Set each one up as you like, but just give each printer icon a different name so you know which one is which.

Fortunately I have Windows 7 Ultimate, so after more searching I found an easier solution:

Run
printui /ip

One can then choose an existing installation under a different name.

OK, thanks for that.

I'll try it myself.
