| | Having problems attaching Brother laser I have a brother HL – 2140 laser printer that I have had on my workstation for approximately one month. It was working fine in both XP virtual mode and on my host computer. I have no idea as to why it has stopped functioning properly, if I use virtual mode and attach it it will run in XP but then it is not available through the host. I can only run it on the host if I release it. I found some information on the forums pertaining to this and followed various suggestions including attaching it, installing software from the CD, releasing it, etc. so far I am unable to get it to work in any method other than what I have mentioned above, it works but it gets kind of cumbersome attaching and releasing the printer as I need it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.Gooker |
