Try unplugging your USB devices (including drives, printers, mouses....any added on USB device)one by one until the message no longer appears. If this doesn't identify the device:
1. Look in Device Manager under Universal Serial Bus Controllers (bottom of list).
2. Double click on a USB device (there may be many).
3. click on the details tab. In the property field drop down list, you'll see 'Device description'. Click on the arrow to the right, a list will drop down.
4. Choose the 2nd entry (Hardware ID). You should now see the hardware ID in the Value section. Does it match your USB\VID number? If not, move to the next device and check again.
You can also check under Human Interface Devices if you have a USB mouse or Keyboard (and let's face it...who doesn't...?)
If you find the problem device, is it plugged directly to the USB port, or is it on a hub, extension slot, etc.? Try plugging it directly to a USB port on the motherboard.
