USB Mouse and Keyboard not working

Hello,

I have a USB mouse and keyboard, and I have them in my PS/2 ports because my Windows 7 does not see them in the USB-ports.

I bought a wireless Mouse and Keyboard, and they can not be seen by my computer, and they can not be in the ps/2 port.
I have no idea why not, but it would be no problem if my computer could see USB-input devices.

I bought a Wacom Bamboo tablet a few months ago, and it also won't work on my windows 7.

They all work on my other HDD, so it is not a broken USB port.
All my other USB-devices (Stick, DVD-burner, USB chargers, External HDD, Etc.)
do work.
The only things that do not work are input devices like my mouse, keyboard and pen tablet.

I hope someone can help me.

Greetings,

I don't if this will fix your problem. When I went to a wireless mouse and keyboard, they wouldn't work also. I found the problem to be is that the usb receiver on my tower wasn't able to pick up the signal. To fix the problem I plugged the receiver in a usb extension cord. This lets the mouse and keyboard to transmit the signal to the usb receiver. No obstructions between the computer and mouse/keyboard. Hope this solves your problem.
