Mouse acting weird. Or?

Hello fellas!

A strange one for you today
I realized, when I shut down my computer all normal and still has the motherboard on power, then if I scroll/click on any button, it will light up as there's different lights on the design.
It's a CM Storm Sentinel.

Another interesting thing is that, if I turn off the motherboard, and on again, and just keeeep scrolling or clicking, it will only light each 3-5th second. Some information here:
  • I have not installed the software for the mouse, as I don't think it will help
  • I tried changing the USB while the computer is not on power
  • As my mouse can change to different "profiles" of DPI, I tried to change the Profile, but it couldn't.
  • The other day, Windows said it's been installing an USB-driver. Still, didn't help!

Not a big deal. I just wonder why. My keyboard doesn't act this way.
Thanks

Best Regards,
FredeGail

You mean the mouse changes color? (I just googled it- cool mouse btw!)
Why don't you install the software for it and see if that offers any controls. Might at least shed some light.

Nah, not that it doesn't change color, more like that it's blinking the current profile color, which is white. Thanks for the heads up, I really like that mouse too
I'd like to try the software, but would it affect it while it's on .. you know.. shutdown?

Best Regards,
