Any way to disable physical buttons on my keyboard?

My keyboard has some really annoying buttons that open up my email, browser, dvd player, and calculator and I accidentally click them a lot. Is there a way I can permanently disable these buttons? I don't see any options under keyboard in my control panel. What other methods might there be?

So frustrating!

You've got hotkeys enabled.
One way to disable them is to remove the keyboards vendors drivers, and revert to the standard drivers issued by microsoft. It should automatically do that.

If that doesnt work, a drop of superglue will do ya!

I tried this method.

I'm now walking around with a keyboard attached to my left index finger via the Caps Lock Button.

Those are the addition features Toshiba has added and yes they can be disabled by going into msconfig and preventing the appropriate file from starting. You will have to do some research to find out which launches the "media buttons" on a toshiba

Actually I have an HP. I had a Toshiba before and I recall disabling their buttons, but I forgot how I did it. It couldn't have been too hard if I managed to pull it off lol.

As for the hotkeys, I use the Microsoft ones all the time, so I wouldn't want to disable them altogether. It's just these 4 or 5 buttons to the left of my shift, caps lock and tab buttons that launch certain programs and I can't stand it!

Are there any programs that can be downloaded to achieve this?

I found one called SharpKeys but I don't think it's properly compatible with Windows 7

Did the keyboard come with a program to change the default behavior of the keys?
You should be able to disable the keys through the program.
What exact model keyboard are you using?

Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard with HP QLB

The computer is called HP Biscotti I believe.

I don't see any software that appears to be related to the keyboard. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places.

And very funny guys, I'm not looking to physically remove the keys lol.
