OCZ Revodrive X2 SSD Review

Quote:
The OCZ Revodrive X2 isn’t your grandmother’s old hard drive. This thing uses a PCI-e slot with x4 bandwidth mode for extreme speeds in both write and read. OCZ sent over a 240 GB model that can read at up to 740 MB/s, write up to 720 MB/s, and perform up to 120,000 IOPS which are astounding numbers, especially compared to mechanical drives.

A Guy, did you post that because you just bought one? If not, I just wanted you to know that I have an available X4 slot on my board.

Sure, send me your OCZ Vertex2 90GB, and I'll send you the OCZ Revodrive X2 in my PC

Pooch, the Revo drives are 3 drives raided together. So, when you get your 2 revos' are you going to try to raid them together? That would be interesting.

The mind boggles lol TBH, no I would keep them as two separate drives and then spend all day transferring large amounts of data from one to the other.

Sounds like fun, but I'd raid them together- just to see is it can be done. Now that would be really fast.
