Windows 7 - DVDROM-audio CD only?

| | DVDROM-audio CD only? I searched the site, but couldn't find this issue elsewhere. I have here an HP laptop running Win7x64. At some point, the internal DVDROM drive began detecting ANY inserted disk as an audio CD. It could be a movie DVD, a program install disk, whatever, Windows reports it as an audio disk. It isn't an Autoplay issue, the disk appears as an audio CD in Explorer as well. Thoughts? tia |
