Time and date resets when i restart the pc?
Whenever i turn my windows7 pc on, it tells me to set the time and date settings. After a google search it's mostly likely my CMOS battery is dead, so i bought one off ebay and installed it but i'm still having the same time and date errors...
Can anybody help?

Did you go into Bios setup during Boot-up, and set the date & time for your time zone, there first. Then when in Windows set it to the same date & time as the Bios setting. | | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Built them myself, Science Experiments !

You don't get to pick a time zone in the Bios settings, I just said to set the time & date for the zone you are presently in.
Is this a desktop or laptop computer ? Did you get the new battery installed properly ? | | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Built them myself, Science Experiments !
