Windows 7 - Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer

| | Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer I have not used this printer for a while and when I tried this afternoon, it is not communicating with the computer. I have downloaded the latest driver for the machine, replaced all the ink cartridges, restarted my machine but still no go. I tried to have a look at the monitor status but all the ink pots were blacked out and it was continually searching. When I disconect the printer from the computer I get the audio sound likewise when I re connect. Can anyone tell me how to overcome this problem please as I would like to print some A3 size pictures.
