My HDD stops at windows boot screen after trying to reinstall Windows

    Hello everyone,

First of all sorry if i write in the wrong topic i'm new on this forum. I have a problem with my Western DIgital Caviar green HDD. My problem is:

I had 2 partitions on my HDD, one for windows 7 and one for backup. I wanted to reinstall windows but keep the backup partition so i put in my install dvd and booted up from it. At the manage partitions point i think i saw 5 partitions:

    The 100mb for windows files
    The windows Partition
    The Backup Partition
    A 1megabyte partition
    And a zero megabyte partition.

I deleted all the partitions except the backup. I made a new one for windows. I procceed with the installation and everything went good, until when the installer rebooted the system. And thats where's my problem. The bios detects the HDD and stops there.

    Here's a pic of it:

It happend with me before with my 500gb hdd and thats why i bought this 1tb one but now i dont want to spend money again for that if i dont have to. Maybe i deleted a partition that was for the hdd to work propely? And if so is there anyway to reset that? If someone can help me please do it. I realy don't know what to do:S

    1) Try resetting your BIOS back to default.

    2) Remove HD, boot up, boot down, refit HD boot up.

    3) Check the hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools.

    4) As you have had problems before, it may be a bad HD Controller or PSU.

yeah but this only happens when i reinstall my windows. and as i mentioned i deleted some partitions. Maybe i deleted one that was for the HDD?. Oh and the diagnostic tool i cant use cause it cant go further as i saw on the picture. even if i put in an ATA drive it stops there and cant get into the bios:S
