Is there more to that no? N10 or N14 perhaps
You can then search for the N number here; eMachines Support - Downloads & Support Documents to find what you are looking for.

You start by reading your owners manual and looking for instructions. Then you download the correct BIOS file and update utility for your specific model from the manufacturers web site. Then you follow the instructions to the letter, you might even want to print them out before trying it. Be advised that if you do it incorrectly you could render your laptop inoperable.

Why do you think updating your BIOS will help with your other problem?
