printer setup

Hi,

i have a HP windows 7 pc and when i first got it, i hooked it up to a hp officejet j6480 all in one printer with no problems.

i was going threw too much toner so i purchased a new hp laserjet p2035, and had no problems.

i need to print in color and i can't get the officejet to network, so i unhooked the laserjet and reinstalled the office jet, or tried, and its telling me its not compatible with windows 7.

anyone have a clue as to whats going on, or if i did something wrong.. i diconnected the other printer but should i uninstall it?

this is driving me nuts because i have a home based business and i really need to use both printers.

Hmm, that is odd. Did you uninstall the drivers for the officejet when you installed the laserjet?

I would try removing the deskjet driver via device manager or the printers page and then follow the devices install instructions.

You should be able to have both installed at the same time. I'm not sure about laserjets, because I haven't had one, and can't say why it didn't work.
