sweetness!! This is exquisitely helpful, mates!
What's wrong with apex?? PSU is something I have VERY little familiarity with (as one only really encoutners it building own rig) and this is the first (although much pondered for past year and learned about off and on past few decades!).
I don't understand
exactly. 2405s really overheats is the implication??if you later decide to OC with stock cooling, and in my experience, however, stock intel cooling is poo.[
how's overclocking on the AMD ???
Why are those PSU brands more reliable. I guess I just liked the brandname "apex' which a silly reason for selecting component lol.
But I have never overclocked but it does interest me greatly.
Sounds like you're saying overclockign 2405s is challenging (or requires tons of cooling)
Or are you saying that hte built in intel fan with 2405s is lame
"stock intel cooling" ???
How's the
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor
for cooling and overclocking?
what is needed for overclocking?
Anyways thanks a ton for helping this project take off/acquire critical mass/get started/get initiated/making it so/ etc haha!!!
I think the first piece I will order will be the case.
Newegg.com - Rosewill FUTURE Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, come with Four Fans-2x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan,1x Top 120mm Fan,1x Rear 120mm Fan,Support up to 7 Fans
smashing reviews on newegg.
micro atx and atx compatible (not that I'd be swapping mobos lol).
great front-side
4-fans
seems awesome.
clarifying fan stuff. if I went with hyper 212 that would be the cpu fan??? And then the four other fans built into the Rosewill would cool what (just all components).
IMPORTANT QUESTION
power supply is mounted in bottom of Rosewill case. Is that okay (I guess so, heat rising, prob better bottom than top mounted).
I won't be ordering all these parts simul. So getting one, I think would be ideal.
Would I need graphics card?
will either gpu (the 2405s integrated or the GIGABYTE GV-N440D3-1GI GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card)
be ideal for multiple monitors (like 2 19"s and a 24" ports arent' a problem because can use USB convertors)
Monitor Question.
If I have a DVI monitor and I use a DVI-to-VGA convertor and then connect it to a VGA port, does that DVI monitor lose quality (Because of vga port)?? seems like it would I guess hhmm bollocks.
Anyways thanks again!
