Pioneer DVRKD08L Nonresponsive after installing Windows 7

Hi All, First time poster here so thank you in advance for the help.

    I have done:
~Right click my computer>Manage>Disc drive.....it shows up there
~It shows up in device mgr (No yellow triangles)
~It allows me to open and close, the disc data light shows but reads/writes nothing
~Uninstalled the drivein Device Mgr......Wins reinstalled at reboot and still nothing
    ~SFC /SCANNOW............didn't find anything wrong
~Did the Wins MAT fixer and told me that every single disc I installed was not supported
~Deleted Mountpoint2 in HKEY_Local........Software_Current... reboot and still nothing.

What gives? It worked fine for Vista it even worked fine after inst 7 it just sorta went away but is still there.

There are no amswers out there. I have read every single post* and all of them either fall off, are blamed on a device failure, or are blamed on Malware.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Welcome to Seven forums Mike. Do you have a driver disk from Toshiba? It might have drivers on it for the DVD drive. Check on the Pioneer site for a new driver. the Toshiba Recovery Utility might help.
There is a MS Fix-it too. read more HERE.
