Hi! crynowbv welcome to 7F :)

I am no gamer (From your last thread on this subject here: https://www.sevenforums.com/hardware-devices/169605-problem-mouse.html)
By the way you should have stayed with that thread since this one is related.

Anyhow, have you checked in Control Panel under Mouse to see what the OS settings are.

Not sure if your Qpad overrides the OS settings, if it does not which would be odd, set the mouse from there, worth a check.

Found this bit of advice on another game forum:
Uninstall the mouse, reboot, and when you re-attach it to your system. Do not install it, i.e. do not configure it with Mouseware. Just dismiss the new hardware found message. Let the standard windoze drivers handle it. Acceleration *should* be gone.

Where the poster says Mouseware, that would mean Qpad5k to you.
Trouble is you would lose any of the other enhancements that come with Qpad's software.

Qpad does not have a forum that I could find, but you could email them click on #4 Support, here: QPAD Products - Corporate-Contact us - Contact us - News

    Hi,

    Thank you.
First of all, enhancement was set off. Secondly, i did how that guy said, i've uninstaled mouse driver, rebooted pc, connected the mouse, windows installed drivers automatically, and when i logged in some game (lineage in this case) i saw that the acceleration still exist.

I tried to see "my posts" but couldn't find, so thats why i started new topic.

Anyway I am deeply frustrated that i see myself forced to go back to that ugly XP in order to be abble to play games normally, without having this stupid acceleration

    * First i thought that counter-strike (the most played game) is not compatible with win7, but i saw Antology 1 being compatible with w7, so now i simply can't see what/why it just doesn't want to dissapear :C

Thanks for your time and help but again .. i can't find no answer (

I came across this, all links work:

The 'MarkC Windows 7 Mouse Acceleration Fix' is available at this link:
The MarkC Windows 7 Mouse Acceleration Fix

    What is it?

It is a registry file that removes Windows 7 mouse pointer acceleration.

It is like the CPL Mouse Fix and Cheese Mouse Fix, but gives exactly 1-to-1 mouse to pointer response for Windows 7.

Exactly 1-to-1 means no discarded or delayed mouse input while game playing.
