Planning to Skype

Going to start using Skype to connect w/family & friends & I was hoping I can get a few opinions on these cams:
1. Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000
2. Logitech C210
3. Logitech C260
4. Gear Head Quick

Price is a factor, so that's why I'm staying low. I don't anticipate it being used for anything more than Skyping w/family & friends, so I don't need anything high-end; just want one w/decent video & sound quality, any type of 'gallery/theme/artsy' features would just be a bonus, but not a requirement.

Personally I would stick with one that has HD quality. One that has decent video and sound, generally as a rule of thumb equates to price. The higher the price the better the picture and sound quality is. As far as brand goes, it's generally a personal choice. I would expect to pay between $50 or better on a good quality webcam. With your lesser priced webcams, your generally limited to smaller picture sizes and resolutions. Note: on video quality this also depends on your internet connection as well, better connection better video.
