Hard drive upgrade
Hi,i am currently using a 160gb ide hard drive,but i want to upgrade to a larger one,i have sata ports on my motherboard,so if i put a sata drive in will the mobo recognise it straight away,or would i have to install drivers for it.thanks for looking | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number iqon(tesco)desktop pc and acer 5720 laptop windows vista/hp 6g2-107 windows 7 64 bit i3 laptop

Other Info Bought pc from tesco 3 years ago,but have upgraded,memory,graphics card ,sound card,monitor,added usb ports and have new galaxy 3 case,only motherboard and prossesor thats original.and upgraded from xp to windows 7,and new speakers,second hard drive for backup.WD essentials 250gb external hard drive

IMO, No drivers will be need.
