    Hard drive upgrade


    Hi,i am currently using a 160gb ide hard drive,but i want to upgrade to a larger one,i have sata ports on my motherboard,so if i put a sata drive in will the mobo recognise it straight away,or would i have to install drivers for it.thanks for looking

    IMO, No drivers will be need.
    Did make all Recovery Disks, so you can reinstall to the new HD?

    Yes i have recovery discs and several backups with different software,thank you for the reply
