Have you spilled any liquid on it? It could cause your keys to become sticky at the bottom.

I don't think so but can't be sure. Any suggestions for checking, cleaning etc?

um, the only way to clean it is to remove keys somehow, but i'm not sure if you could access the problematic part..

If you can, plug in a USB keyboard and see if the problem goes away. If it does then you know its likely the built in keyboard. If it doesn't then you keep trouble shooting settings etc.
