Thx in adv.

What 3rd party partitioning tool have you been playing with?

I notice the two partitions in question are dynamic partitions and not basic partitions. Is there a reason for this? Do you have a RAID setup?

Also, two of your partitions have the same drive letter: G

Good information on the difference between basic and dynamic disks here:

Basic and Dynamic Disks (Windows)

Not sure what you've been doing, but I'd be inclined to delete dynamic partition G and extend partition I or just merge the two partitions.

Backup any important data first.

Thanks for the reply,
well before then it was my main drive, after i unpartitioned it, it became Basic Disk.

Do you have a RAID setup?
No. I don't have, what's a RAID?

also I'm thinking about formatting disk I:

edit:
I can't seem to extend my volume, it's disabled.
though my G: is connected to the other one, so basically it's just one G:

You need to convert the dynamic disks to basic disks first. If there's anything on them you need, back the data up first.
