IBM Thinkpad T41 and Windows 7

I am considering upgrading my old T41 from Windows XP to Windows 7.

Here are the specs;
- Pentium M 1.6 Ghz
- 1 GB of RAM
- Dedicated ATI Radeon 9000 Mobile Graphics
- 100 GB (7200 rpm) drive
- 1400x1050 LCD screen

Should I do it ? Who has done it ? What is like for default Windows drivers ?

EDIT: Had a scan through here and "google" and the trick is to load the Windows XP driver ... and ignore the error prompts and it seems to work, albeit no Aero, etc.
