Broken fan on Compaq Presario CQ61

Recently my fan in my laptop was extremely loud, and the laptop was getting really hot. I proceeded to vacuuming my laptop and dust came out of it.

Somehow when vacuuming my fan, it broke.

Now it does not spin, and my laptop is silent.

Within 10 minutes of running the laptop it turns off; when it turns back on it says it shutdown to avoid over heating...

Any ideas, do i need a replacement, and should i take it to a computer place???

I suggest trying to blow out more dust. Maybe a dust bunny is preventing the fan from spinning.

If that doesn't work, the machine may need to be cleaned more thoroughly (disassembled). If that doesn't work, you'd need a replacement fan.

Take it to a shop, if you can't do it yourself, and you know a place that you can trust. (Preferably not Geek Squad at Best Buy. I've read few kind words about them.)
