Extremely Poor Wireless Mouse Performance In-Game?

I have a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 4000 that I frequently carry around. I would like to try using it to play games, but it has serious issues. Outside of a game, the mouse works perfectly fine. In game, the mouse jerks around and stutters, making it utterly impossible to use. It does not occur with any wired USB mouses.

Borderlands. I'll try it on other titles and post back shortly.

EDIT: All games seem to do it, including Bad Company 2, Dead Space 2, Fallout New Vegas, and Modern Warfare 2.

MS Wireless Mouse 5000 - Poor scrolling
I have recently bought a MS Wireless Mouse 5000, and the scroll wheel seems to be a bit flakey. It does not happen all the time, and seems to be worse in some applications (for instance, Safari), than others. Any ideas?

Poor computer conditions = poor gaming performance?
First off, I didn't know whether to post this in gaming or hardware. Sorry. My question: If there is dust on the videocard and fans or other poor condtions in my computer, can it affect performance in gaming? FPS wise? Thanks, Andrew.

Extremely slow boot+log-on, poor performance after clean install
Well, I guess I'll just jump right into this. As the title says, I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 (deleted all my hard drive partitions, including the system reserved one, reformatted and then installed Win7) and since then I've been noticing some strange issues that I did not experience...

Poor SSD Performance
After having rather high hopes for SSD Performance...I'm disappointed. I'm glad I got a test unit, because if I would've shelled out the cabbage for this, I'd be a little PO'd. I have an 8300 Quad Core 2.5 Intel with 4GB of RAM running W7 Pro 64 Bit. Instead of trying to clone the old drive, I...
