Why can't I remove my Internet Modem USB Stick in Windows 7?

    Dear all!

I am using Internet Modem USB Stick with my computer. My computer is Windows 7 Professional. I have a problem with removing the Internet Modem USB Stick from the computer. When I insert the Internet Modem USB Stick into my computer and then I wish to remove it, I really can't do so. I, however, can remove the Internet Modem USB Stick from the computer easily in Windows XP.

I think it will reduce my Internet Modem USB Stick Lifetime and there probably should effect my computer lifetime if I try to remove the USB Stick without allowing to reject.

Please let me know what can help to remove the Internet USB Medem Stick from the computer in Windows 7. Are there any other helpful programs that can help?

I feel very worried and concerned about this. Hope everyone experienced this, please feel very kind to help me and solve my problem.

Thanks a lot and best wishes!

I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

    My best regards,

    LUCK

    Hi, LUCK.

I think that safe remove is useful for pen drives and external disks.
Safe remove writes pending bytes to pen and external disks and then unmount them from file system.
For a modem, there is no need to safe remove and I don't think that it will shorten you computer life time nor your modem life time.

    Hope this helps

    Errm, I don;t think it's solved yet.
You might try going to Contol Panel/Network and Sharing, and click the trouble shooter to see if it will find any issues.

    Dear all!

I was trying to follow all the instructions but I still couldn't get it solved.

Could I have another method to solve it? Be sure I can remove the USB Flash Transcend or other brands easily except the Internet USB Modem.

I am looking forward to hearing from all.

    Yours sincerely,
