INTEL to release LGA2011 socket ?

hi guys just been looking at getting a new motherboard. and there was a link to these new motherboards coming this year !! they look sweet look for yourself.

After visiting most of the major motherboard manufacturers while exploring the Computex trade show, we thought it would be interesting to put together a photo gallery of all the LGA2011 motherboards we've seen.

What's interesting is just how many LGA2011 motherboards are on display at the show, despite the fact that the CPUs are not due to be released until much later this year.

Ya, those Asus boards look like the old Asus P4 boards from 10 years ago.
It's odd seeing the memory slots in that configuration.

I don't care how it looks as long as it performs.

Those pictures have been floating around for a while. Earlier this year they had portions of the boards blocked out. I think the new memory slot arrangement was for Quad-Channel memory if I remember correctly.

Looks like there goes my NH-D14. Guess I'll have to find something else. I didn't think any of the boards looked real great. Everything is jammed together. Looks like the PCIe slots are real close to the dimm slots.
