INTEL to release LGA2011 socket ? hi guys just been looking at getting a new motherboard. and there was a link to these new motherboards coming this year !! they look sweet look for yourself. Quote: After visiting most of the major motherboard manufacturers while exploring the Computex trade show, we thought it would be interesting to put together a photo gallery of all the LGA2011 motherboards we've seen.
What's interesting is just how many LGA2011 motherboards are on display at the show, despite the fact that the CPUs are not due to be released until much later this year. Ya, those Asus boards look like the old Asus P4 boards from 10 years ago.
It's odd seeing the memory slots in that configuration. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HAL-9000 OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU Intel i7 2600K @ 4.44Ghz Motherboard Asus P8P67 Pro Rev 3.1 Memory 16GB DDR3 1333 Corsair XMS3 Graphics Card XFX HD5850 1GB EyeFinity Sound Card Logitech G35 & Sennheiser PC135 & VIA HD Monitor(s) Displays 23" HP 2310e, 23" Samsung B2230, 21.5" Viewsonic Screen Resolution 5760x1080 Keyboard Logitech G15 and G13 Mouse Logitech G700 Gaming Mouse PSU Antec True Power New 650watt Case Cooler Master HAF-932 Cooling Corsair H60 Hydro Cooler, 3x 230mm Fans, 2x120mm Fan Hard Drives 16TB of Storage

Those pictures have been floating around for a while. Earlier this year they had portions of the boards blocked out. Looks like there goes my NH-D14. Guess I'll have to find something else. I didn't think any of the boards looked real great. Everything is jammed together.
