Windows 7 - Keyboard Suddenly stopped working

I was doing my usual thing when my mouse started acting weird but then it went beck to normal.
Then about an hour later my mouse started acting up then out of the blue all three lights on my keyboard flashed then shut off. Then only the num lock key turned on and the keyboard became completely unresponsive. i went to the virtual keyboard and try'd that but every time i click on a key on the virtual keyboard a beep noise comes from my computer.
Then i restarted my computer and when it said "Your system was not turned off properly the last time it was used." i could not use the keyboard.
I try'd a different keyboard in the PS/2 port and that just did the same thing.

And no i can not access the BIOS menu.

Anyone have the same problem??????????


Other info...
I was running Blender 2.58a when this happened. no other programs were running.
I did not recently install or uninstall anything.
My computer did not show any warning signs that some thing was about to happen.
I was not on the internet that day on my computer.
Windows 7 did not download any updates recently.
(every time i update i get a new problem with windows 7, so i have updates disabled.)
