Windows 7 - URGENT! network printer help

Hey you guys!
having a huge problem trying to print form a network printer. The printer is connected via a desktop.
here are the specs of the base computer
OS: vista 32bit
ram: 1gig
CPU: pentium dual core 1.80

I'm trying to connect from my laptop here are the specs of the laptop
OS: 7 ultimate
ram: 4g
CPUentium at 2.4

tried almost everything! installed the printer on my laptop. shared the the printer. it says its connected but doesnt print? I even tried setting up a local port but it gives an access denied error message . the path of the printer via the base is :\\ZINA\Samsung SCX-4x21 series.

The printer is smasung laser scx-4521f
please help!

also the router im using is a 4g clearspot hotspot modem with only one micro usb slot

Do you have a network set up? If so open up devices and pritners, then click add printer, then select a add network, wireless, usb printer and the OS find and install the driver.

Also, check to make sure that the network is using the same workgroup name on both PC's.
