Q on SSD install

Hi,

I'm going to be installing my new SSD in the next few days and was wondering about something.
At the moment I have 2 HDDs running on RAID 0. Do I have to go to the RAID settings menue that appears on boot and clear the RAID 0 setting before taking the old HDDs out to put in the new SSD or can I just take out the RAID 0 HDDs without messing with the RAID menue put in the SSD and if by any chance there is a problem reinstall the old HDDs and keep my RAID settings?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
