Keyboard Not Responding

I have a Samsung Q430, 64bit Laptop. A few days ago i got a blue screen so i didnt think much of it so i just restarted my computer. I didnt notice it for awhile but all my number keys with the exception of 3,4,6,8,0 now do not work.

Things ive tried: Restoring computer to factory default, Updating keyboard driver and Running Virus and Malware scans.

Its quite frustrating, i dont kno what to do now? Seeing how i have a factory restored computer & my number keys are still not responding.

Note: Ive been using on screen keyboard :/

EDIT: Any info i can provide so that you can help me with this ill be glad to post.

Couple of things you could look at to see if Windows 7 recorded any errors. First is the Event Log.

What information appears in event logs (Event Viewer)?

Next I'd check Device Manager to see if your keyboard is functioning properly.

I'd check Application (program) events and System events. If you have the time I'd look through the other event logs, too (won't take very long.) Couple more things you can try is booting your machine into Safe Mode and seeing if your keyboard works properly.

Safe Mode

There's also been some reports of a bad laptop battery causing issues with the keyboard and touchpad. You could try removing the laptop battery and running from the AC adapter. Since this problem first appeared a few days ago you could also try using a System Restore point (if you have one) to restore your machine to a date/time prior to when the problem began.

System Restore

And you could also try a Clean Boot to see if you can isolate the problem area.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

This Microsoft forum thread may provide some other ideas.

The event logs appear fine, i went threw apps and service logs and theres nothing in there so i think im fine. I tried taking the batterie out and restarting my computer in clean boot, i even tried safemode aswell.. Nothing seems to help :/ if it would make things easier i have teamviewer.
