Keyboard and mouse input errors

Hi all

Just got my new system running couple days ago. Custom built by a local computer retailer.

My PC runs on Window 7 Professional 64bit, Intel i5 2500 @ 3.3Ghz. MOBO is ASUS P8Z68-V (supports USB3.0). VGA is ASUS 6950 1GB.

Today I have some problems with my keyboard (Microsoft Sidewinder X6) and mouse (Razer Mamba wireless) input:

1. Keyboard and mouse work fine most of the time but at times they will stuff up and there is no indication of what is the cause.

2. Keyboard will start losing input capability - I cannot type, however it kind of picks up some short cuts instead. E.g. A game room will pop up when I try to type 'G' on a msn chat box.

3. Something wrong with the mouse click as well - when I double click on any folder it will try to access 'properties' instead of opening it up.

I have tried connect them different usb ports. I have also updated all the drivers including IntelliType 8.2 64-bit for Windows 7 (for keyboard), Razer Configurator (for mouse), and ASM USB 3.0 Driver V1.4.5.0 (for MOBO).

The issue still persists and I hope someone could give me some ideas on what is going on... Thank you!

Paul
