In configuring my daughter's ASUS laptop, I deleted a lot of the "bloatware" it came with, including the lifeframe webcam software (I was using
Asus Utility and Bloatware Guide to walk me through this, so it wasn't like I was ignorantly flailing).
The bloatware guide referenced above says that lifeframe is "not essential for the webcam to work" - which makes sense, except now my daughter doesn't know how to make the webcam work.
Does Windows 7 have its own built-in utility for a webcam, and if not what are some recommended free sofware options for this?
