    What DVD burner is this???

    Hi,

I have a MSI GX660R laptop and am having trouble finding what internal dvd drive I have.

Have tried my friend Google but no joy.

Do any of you guys know what HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT32N is, and is it any good??

If not, what is currently the best slim internal or slim usb external drive for a laptop with regards to quality burns. I always use Taiyo Yuden discs with TY02 media code.

    Thanks in advance

    It's a Hitachi/LG drive.

There's even a Wikipedia entry for Hitachi-LG Data Storage:

I wasn't able to find a spec sheet from LG for it. Many sellers pop up in a Google search for a GT32N. (It appears to be no longer manufactured, though.)
