Intel Smart Response Tech and Windows 7 image

I have built a PC around the P8Z68-V-Pro, running windows 7 64bit using an intel 311 cache drive. I am running ISRT in enhanced mode. In the past with my other PC's I have always taken a system image using the facility in windows 7. Has anyone any experience of taking a system image when using ISRT? I guess you have to disable ISRT befor taking an image and during any recovery? but is there anything else you have to do i.e. write back data to the main HD? if so how do you do this? Regards
