It's dirt cheap.
I looked at my Newegg buying history from two years ago and I bought my current 4GB of RAM for $79.99.

Well it states in the manual for my mobo that a bios update will be released when 8gb sticks are available.

Yea, RAM has been getting cheap, a pair of two 4GB sticks at 1600MHz are at $50 USD. All I need is some money and I have more breathing room on my RAM.
