Steve, I need a lot of sleep these days - LOL. Plus I have been mucking around with /8 all the time.
This is what I thought until I started searching this morning.
Everything I found today was TRIM is not enabled even though Windows will show it is available on non Raid set ups with newer Marvell drivers.
The Marvell website that I found does not even show any info on their motherboard controllers.
The only reference I found was from reviews by ezine types Tom's Hardware, AnandTech etc.
Links would be appreciated to this info at Marvell.
Thanks
Mike
Glad it is all sorted.
Glad I posted about the Marvell reinstalling and that you found it to delete.
I wasn't sure if it would or would not but I knew it was possible.
My wifes day off so I had to take her shopping and out for lunch.
Now I have to head off to the doctors office.

I´m sorry but another question poped into my mind just now so i had to ask before i forgott it.
If i was to buy a controllcard with the marvell 91xx chip and use my SSD on it, would i still be able to run the MSAHCI on it with TRIM activated?
I was thinking of this two cards:
Komplett.se - HighPoint Rocket 620 2P SATA III
ASUS U3S6 SATA6G USB3 CARD PCIE
To answer your question, I don't know. To the best of my knowledge they are both Marvell controllers. I just can't tell which ones. If it is the SE9120 then yes. If it is the same one you have then no, you will just be adding 2 more Marvell ports.
This card has the Marvell 9128 chip
Komplett.se - HighPoint Rocket 620 2P SATA III
And this card has the Marvell 9123 chip
ASUS U3S6 SATA6G USB3 CARD PCIE
So if i add the first card that has the same chip as i have 9128 then TRIM wont work? Why not? And why will it work with another Marvell chip other than i already have?
