I bought these screws for my setup.
Amazon.com: Du-Bro 316 6-32 x 1-1/4" Socket Head Cap Screw (4-Pack): Industrial & Scientific
I just added the push fan and idle temps seem the same. I'll run Prime95 later and see if it helps load temps.

lol, true. Stock 'brand name' case fans are impossible to come by.

If you want it to match, why not ditch the existing Corsairs and grab 4 new and better fans?

I love my Noctuas. I love them even more on the 7v resistor.

I didn't bother using the resistors, because I can't hear them above the noise of fans of the chipset, external case, etc. and saw no reason not to get all of the airflow possible. Even with the external case turned off, they only make a very low hum.

Idle temps are the same, 34-37 and load temps are good, 50-54 (55-60 with one fan)

Hello all, Recently I have installed a H60 Liquid cooler into my Rig (I5 2500K CPU, No overclock - yet) and i am not satisfied with the performance on the fan it comes with, now don't misunderstand its a very good cooler and I am happy with it but the fan is a little noisier than i hoped for at...

Case Fans
I'm putting a new rig together. All the fan headers on the mobo are four pin. All the case fans are three pin. Is there a solution to hook them to the board (adapter?)? The fourth wire on the board headers are a tach readout I am guessing. A three wire fan is PWM I am guessing again. I don't really...

case and cpu fans
Can anyone recommend some aftermarket, quiet cpu and case fans? The cpu is an AMD Phonom Quad Core 9600 2.3Ghz Socket AM2+ And the case fans are for a Gateway GT5676 Mid Tower (I believe it's a mid tower). I have only roughly measured the case fans from the outside, but they look to be 80mm....

Case Fans
I am looking at getting a new case and have found a couple I like. One has alot of fans. There are two front, one side, one rear and two top fans, all 120 mm. This is the most I have seen on a case and am leaning toward it except it is a dull black color. I found another that is blue on the outside...
