Sometimes with Vista or Windows 7 you need to install a printer in an un-orthodox way. My suggestion may or may not work, but it's worth a try as it has always worked for me. First un-install your current printer. Then remove the USB cable if that's what you are using. Next shut down your computer. Turn the power on to your printer and plug in your USB cord, then restart you computer. Windows should find your printer and install it. If your
drivers are out of date and if you have an internet connection, Windows will go on line and find the latest
drivers. Your manual will probably instruct you different, but disregarded what it says and try my suggestion.
