CPU for 64 bit windows 7

I have a intel pentium D 3ghz cpu & also an Intel celeron D 2.8 ghz need to know if both will work on a 64 bit windows install & if not which one will

There are models for each that support 64bit.
Pretty sure you are okay with the pentium d I think almost all of them are x64.
The Celeron d is a bit trickier though, as there are two sets of chips labeled as celeron d and one does not support 64 bit instructions.

Here's a little 114Kb utility that will tell you that on your PC. GRC*|*SecurAble: Determine Processor Security Features*|** Of course it works only on a running computer.
