    strange keyboard problems

i recently bought a new keyboard for my computer and its been working fine for a little over a week now but today it started acting really strange. I went to try to go to a website and after i typed the address i pressed the enter key to go to the address wanted but after i pressed enter it showed a cvm; after the .com then my browser closed and them my computer shutdown. i turned it back on put my password in pressed enter and it shutdown again. did the same thing several times then it stopped for bout 30 mins then in the middle of a game i press a letter key and it shutsdown again i turn it back on completely uninstalled the driver for the keyboard then re installed it then it was fine for a few hours then it started acting up again doing the same thing. but it doesnt do it everytime i press the same key sometimes it enter sometimes back space and sometimes a random letter key. i havnet been able to even find a trace of this problem or a solution anywhere else. it has just completely thrown me for a loop and i hope someone can help cuse im clueless about this. im pretty good with computers but ive never seen anything like this. i think it may just be a bad keyboard (cuse it was a cheap keyboard =p) but i dont have another keyboard to test out and i dont want to have to buy a new keyboard if i dont have to. But if it does turn out to be a bad keyboard the company tha made the keyboard was "ONN" so if it turn out to be that then i suggest you dont buy a keyboard from them =p but any input would be helpful. and its a wired usb keyboard btw.

    Forgiven Soul,
    Welcome to SevenForums.

Right now we have very little to go on.

We will start by ruling out some possible causes.

Please download, install and run a FULL SCAN with MalwareBytes. There's a link in my sig.

To give us a better understanding of your system, your System Specs would be useful.

Please read and execute the following:
    UPDATE YOUR SEVENFORUMS SYSTEM SPECS

User CP (3rd item in the top menu bar) |
in left-hand column, under Your Profile, Edit System Spec |

Use Speccy - System Information - Free Download
and/or SIW to gather info for filling in the blanks.
You can also use the System Spec tool from this fine tutorial:
Use System Info to see your System Specs

Do me a favor. Please add the word laptop or desktop to the “system manufacturer” block.

Provide full windows version info, such as provided by Speccy:
    MS Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader, Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor

Scroll down and click on the SAVE CHANGES button.

What did you do with your old keyboard? Can you borrow a keyboard from your neighbour or a friend just to test it out?

@dwarf we just moved into a new house so we dont really know anyone yet

@karlsnooks sry its MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 but im going to update it later cuse im using my on-screen keyboard right now so my computer doesnt shutdown again. but i guess a better explanation would be that the keys are "crossing" cuse i was playing a game and pressed the enter key and nothing came up. pressed again and it acted like i pressed the C key. i spammed the enter key a few times and it would change from C to X to Z and others like that. but i have a hp pavilion vx74, cisco router ambit cable modem, logitech m100 mouse, eMachines desktop computer, diablotek 650w PSU, ASUS NVidia GForce gtx 550 Ti graphic card and ONN keyboard not sure what else you need but i can give more just ask

    and running malware scan now

but i do run Advanced System Care 5 beta about once a day but it hasnt given me any problems on my laptop so far

After the MalwareByte full scan finishes,
then dump that "advanced care" thing.

This is Win 7 and not Wiin eXPired. You don't need and can only get problems from all of those wonder programs.
