Windows 7 - Microphone Not Responding

| | Microphone Not Responding I recently bought a new headset and it's worked fine for a few days, but now it's not responding to any sound whatsoever. It's displayed in my devices and everything looks normal. I've tested it on XP and it works fine. |

| | click on the start orb  Type sound, and click on it when it appears in the list. Use the Playback and Record tabs to set your device to Default.  A right click on a device allows you to enable disable it. If another device is already enabled you may have to disable it first   also inserting the two ticks is always a good idea |

| | pooch, I had already fiddled around with my mic in hardware and sound along with adjusting many settings for it. I eventually reinstalled my drivers and rebooted, and my mic works fine now.  |
