Windows 7: Help with configuring Dazzle DVC 100 with consoles

I am using a Sony Vaio VPCEE3E0E model laptop with 64bit Windows 7 Home Premium installed, with a 2.20 GHz AMD Athlon II P340 Dual Core Processor. The Dazzle I am using is a DVC 100 (Platinum) updated for use with Windows Vista. I wish to produce Let's Plays on YouTube using this setup and my consoles. The first time I attempted this I was able to successfully capture footage from both my standard TV output and non-HD consoles such as PS2 and Wii. However, on the second use, it failed to capture footage from any output other than the TV itself, and now in all subsequent uses afterwards it fails to recognise any valid Input Signals whatsoever regardless of whether the splitters are being used or not. Can somebody who has had experience with this device explain the optimal setup, what I may be doing wrong and how to resolve this problem? Thank you.
